The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Latvia initiated and organized, for the first time, the international hackathon “UzHack” in Riga with the participation of Uzbek students studying in the Baltic States - Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the “Vatandoshlar” Public Foundation and the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan.
During the hackathon, participants worked intensively for 48 hours on practical case studies provided by leading government and technology organizations, developing innovative solutions.
More than 70 young participants took part in the event, forming a total of 13 teams. Following the selection rounds, the top 4 teams advanced to the final stage, where they successfully presented and defended their projects before an expert jury.
The “UzHack” hackathon served as an important platform for Uzbek youth abroad to exchange knowledge and experience, strengthen teamwork skills, and foster innovative thinking.
Such initiatives play a significant role in unlocking the intellectual potential of Uzbek youth abroad, uniting them around a common purpose, and creating a strong foundation for future innovative development.
