Citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan is lost in the following cases:
a) as a result of the person joining the military service of a foreign country, security bodies, law enforcement bodies, state power and management bodies;
b) if a person permanently residing abroad has not been registered with a permanent consular office for seven years without good reason;
c) if admission to the citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan was carried out as a result of knowingly providing false information or forged documents;
g) if a person, acting for the benefit of a foreign country or by committing crimes against peace and security, caused serious damage to the interests of society and the state;
d) if a person voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a foreign country;
e) if the person received the citizenship of a foreign country by birth or on the basis of the citizenship of his father or mother, who is a citizen of a foreign country, when he was a minor and did not formalize the withdrawal of the citizenship of a foreign country until he turned twenty-one years old.
The fact that a person has lost the citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan does not cause a change in the citizenship of his husband (wife) and child (children).
